Harold started photography 8 years ago as a hobby. Over the years it has blossomed into a passion of his. Whether it is artful lighting or family portraits, he enjoys the process as much as he loves the results.

When did you start photography?
I started photography about 8 years ago. It came from wanting to be an artist. I started in music, but discovered a brand new world of taking photos.
What is your favorite movie/TV show?
The Wire. Willingness to go deep into a single complex subject and a confidence that the viewer can keep up was something I found amazing to view.
What is your favorite style of photography?
All kinds. There is no genre I do not want to try. All I want to do is make the viewer gasp or react in some way that makes them think and makes them happy.
What is your favorite band/genre of music?
A WIDE variety from Azam Ali to Slayer :)
Who is your favorite photographer?
Too many to count!
What is your favorite dessert?
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Oakland, California.
Favorite place you've traveled to?
Jamaica was amazing, but I also enjoyed traveling the United States.
What inspires your photography?
I am inspired by the challenge of photography. The problem solving involved is really exciting and very fulfilling when you get it right.
